How long will it take to process my order?
Generally your order is done within 3 business days from when we receive it. Our goal is to have it in your hands in one week. During our peak Christmas shopping season (November/December) you should allow 5-10 business days, plus shipping time.
What happens when I place an order?
Once we receive your order, one of our talented artists (a.k.a. pig painters) hand paints your piggy (or other gift item) to your specifications. Once dry, it is carefully inspected, gently packed and shipped. It’s that simple….you give us the details, we’ll make it special.
Is there an additional charge for personalizing and artwork?
Price includes name and artwork on one side of the piggy bank
Can additional artwork be done on other sides?
Yes. For an additional $7, we will paint the second side of your piggy bank.
Who does the hand-painting?
Mrs. Details (Daneen) is the original artist. We are fortunate to have several wonderful college students work for us that also do the artwork. Some have worked for us since they were in high school.
Can I choose artwork not included in the sample list?
Yes. The patterns listed are the most popular ones. However, each item is hand-painted to order. If you would like to request something other than the patterns listed, just type this into the comment box under each item. If we have questions regarding your request, we will contact you by email or by phone.
Will the artwork be just like the last item I ordered?
We do our best to keep the artwork consistent with the sample designs. Keep in mind that we have at least 5 different artists on staff custom painting your order. Each has their own touch and style, so the items truly are unique. No patterns, stencils or transfers are used; all artwork is done free hand.
Can I choose the colors to be used?
Yes. We have color themes that can be chosen in the ordering process. If you want only specific colors, or do not want one color specifically, let us know in the comments area.
Can I request certain cartoon characters?
Due to licensing laws we are not free to do licensed characters such as 'Winnie the Pooh' or Disney characters. This also applies to Professional or College Sports logos.
Can a gift card be included?
Yes, we will include a gift card if the item you ordered is being sent to a different address. Just type your message in the comments box. This is a service we include at no cost to you.
Can I order items I've seen in your store that are not on the website?
Yes. The website only includes some of the items we have available for personalizing. However, you may have been in the store or at a craft show and seen items that have not yet made it to the site, so please feel free to call directly to order these items.
What happens if an item is not in stock?
If we happen to be temporarily out of stock on an item, you will be emailed within 24 hours of your order. Should you not respond within another 24 hours we will attempt to contact you by phone. It is a good idea after placing an order to watch for update emails from us.
Do you ship outside the continental US?
Yes, but additional shipping charges will apply. Generally it is double what is listed

Security Policy
Details Personalized Gifts uses technology called Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt any personal information you transmit online. The information is encrypted on your computer and decoded after it reaches a secure server hosted by Authorize.net. This information cannot be decrypted during transit. Authorize.Net receives the secure transaction information and passes it via a secure connection to the First National Merchant Solution’s (FNM) Processor. FNM then works with the credit card issuer (Visa, Mastercard, etc), who approves or declines the transaction based on your available funds and passes the transaction results, and if approved, the appropriate funds via a secure transaction. The First National Merchant Solution’s Processor relays the transaction results to Authorize.Net. Authorize.Net stores the transaction results and sends them to us and you. This communication process averages three seconds or less.
Details Personalized Gifts does not receive your credit card information. All we receive is the order information and notification that the credit card transaction is approved.

Privacy Policy
Details Personalized Gifts understand the need for our customers to feel safe about providing us their personal information online. Personal information includes information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
Information Sharing and Disclosure: Details Personalized Gifts does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested.
Personalization Information: In order to hand-personalize each product, Details Personalized Gifts require that you submit certain private information to us for most items. This may consist of your child's name(s) or age(s), birthdate(s), etc. This information is used only to personalize your purchases, and is held strictly confidential.
E-mail Addresses: During the checkout process, we collect your e-mail address. Your e-mail address is used only so that you may receive notification of your order being received and of your order being shipped. On occasion, our customers may receive announcements via e-mail from Details Personalized Gifts. Your email address is not forward on to any third party except for shipping purposes.
Confidentiality and Security: We limit access to personal information about you to employees who need to come into contact with that information in order to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs (hand paint the items you ordered). We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.
